Latest Update: To celebrate the rollout of the 400,000th unit of the Nexon, Tata has launched a new XZ+ (L) trim, which has replaced the XZ+ (O) trim and gets many features from the range-topping XZ+ (P).

Latest Update: To celebrate the rollout of the 400,000th unit of the Nexon, Tata has launched a new XZ+ (L) trim, which has replaced the XZ+ (O) trim and gets many features from the range-topping XZ+ (P).
Price: Tata retails its subcompact SUV in the price range of Rs 7.60 lakh and Rs 14.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants: Tata Nexon comes in following trims: XE, XM, XM (S), XM+ (S), XZ+, XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L) and XZ+ (P). The Dark Edition is available on trims starting from XZ+, while the Kaziranga Edition and the new ‘Jet’ Edition can be had on the top-spec XZA+ (P) trim.
Seating Capacity: The Nexon is a five-seater sub-4m SUV.
Engine and Transmission: Tata’s sub-compact SUV comes with two engine choices: a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol unit (making 120PS and 170Nm) and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine (making 110PS and 260Nm). Both are available with a six-speed manual as standard and get an optional six-speed AMT.
Features: Nexon’s features list comprises a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, voice commands, a cooled glovebox, auto AC with rear vents, cruise control, and rain-sensing wipers. The top-spec trims include ventilated front seats, auto-dimming IRVM, an eight-speaker sound system, and an air purifier with an air-quality display.
Safety: Safety equipment onboard the SUV includes dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, an electronic stability program (ESP), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Rivals: Tata’s sub-compact SUV takes on the Toyota Urban Cruiser, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and the Hyundai Venue.
